Over 25 Million

Their Stories. Your Impact

Each story represents a child who never got to choose. Some were forced to work. Others were exploited in silence. And the worst part? Most people never noticed. That’s the reality of trafficking. It doesn’t always look the way people expect. It hides in homes, job sites, schools, even neighborhoods that seem safe.

This program is here to change that.

Your support helps us share real stories from survivors. It helps people recognize the signs and understand what’s really going on. These aren’t just numbers. They’re human lives. And they deserve to be seen.

Join us and be the reason someone's story gets heard.

Room To Care's estimated funding requirement to develop Through Their Eyes, in addition to establishing the non-profit organization to function for 12 without additional funding. These costs are an estimate, and will change given market availability, demand, and resource opportunities. We understand that there are additional savings to soley relying on Generative AI over the cost of investing in human capital. However, just as much as we are advocates for trafficking survivors, we are also advocates for the human perspective, and approach content with a human-first mindset.

Funding Questions

How is Through Their Eyes being funded?

We rely on a mix of individual donations (coming soon), grants, corporate partnerships, and sponsorships.

How is Through Their Eyes being funded?

We rely on a mix of individual donations (coming soon), grants, corporate partnerships, and sponsorships.

Are donations tax-deductible?code?

Once we open up individual donation acceptance, yes. We are in the process of registering Room To Care as a 501(c) 3 nonprofit status. Donations at that point will be tax-deductible in the U.S. as allowed by law.

How will you ensure funds are used appropriately?

We believe in being transparent, which including where the money is being spent. In order to maintain this level of openness, we will keep detailed financial records which will be available upon request.

Why raise money over selling the final product?

We can either fund everything ourselves and rely on selling the program to recover the initial investment and hope we can continue developing additional content, or we can do everything we can to ensure the content is developed with the intent to distribute for free. We like providing access to the course on our website for free, which will avoid keeping the program hidden behind a paywall.

How can we see the impact of any donation, grant, or partnership?

We will be providing regular updates through blog and video updates, including reports, highlighting program milestones, survivor stories, and financial summaries.

When you say 'free' access, is it truly free?

Our goal from the very beginning has been to build training programs that tackle tough topics with empathy and compassion for all those involved, starting with Human Trafficking. That goal includes offering it to the public 100% free, via our website. We will be able to offer paid licensing opportunities to companies and other organizations who wish to host the program on their own training platforms. This includes offering customized branding solutions as a paid optional feature.

General Questions

What's the difference between Through Their Eyes and Room To Care?

Room To Care is the (soon to be) nonprofit organization building impactful educational courses, starting with the Through Their Eyes program. In order to ensure copyright and licensing is handled legally and properly, we needed to form a new organization to handle all of the official business.

How can I verify your nonprofit status?

Once we complete the 501(c) 3 nonprofit registration, you'll be able to confirm our status through the IRS Exempt Organization database or by requesting our IRS determination letter.

Who oversees your operations?

We are developing our Board of Directors & Advisory Council, which will comprise of experts in human rights, nonprofit management, legal counsel, education professionals, and survivor advocacy, guide our mission and ensure accountability.

How many employees work for Room To Care?

Not as many as we need nor would love to have. Until we are fully funded, Room To Care is made up of passionate individuals who are putting everything together without compensation, and the founder (Scott Burch) has been handling all of the business expenses to-date.

Will you create everything in-house, outsource, or a mixture of the two?

We would love to fully develop everything in-house, but we know that's not realistic at the moment. We will have to rely on outside support from different individuals, organizations, and with the use of AI tools.

Will you rely on AI for creative content or stick with human only content?

We take a Human First approach to content development, but in order to maintain expenses and timelines, we will have to utilize AI for various aspects of this program.

Are you open to colunteer work or contribute in other way

Absolutely! We welcome volunteers for outreach, survivor/advoicate connections, content development, and fundraising. Please reach out to learn more about current opportunities.
